IRISH FINISH FOURTH IN 2002 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Irish Baseball Team finished 4th in the European Championships in Stockholm after losing to Sweden in the semi-finals (18-1) and Poland in the third place playoff (7-5).
This is one of the greatest achivements by the Irish Team and bodes well for the future of Irish Baseball as much of the team consists of many new and young faces to the squad. We'd also like to pay special thanks to the Slocum Baseball Club who contributed greatly to the Irish cause both financially and coaching wise. We couldn't have done it without you - AGAIN!
